Bruce Pike
Bruce and Dorothy Pike moved to Wasaga Beach in 1998 from Thornhill, Ont. They have one 19 yr. old daughter who presently attends the University of Toronto.
Bruce became a Christian in the summer of 1974 after a dynamic conversion experience while working in the Negev Desert, Israel. This rebirth came approximately 8 months into a one year trip throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Upon returning home to Toronto, he became actively involved in several churches in the GTA , 9 years of which were spent in a fulltime capacity assisting the churches in evangelism and youth work. In 1995, Bruce left fulltime church service in order to teach and manage as Principal a Christian School in North York. During some Vineyard renewal meetings, it became impressed upon Bruce and Dorothy that they should move to Wasaga Beach. Shortly afterwards, both Bruce and his wife moved up to the Beach, in faith, and soon became employed as teachers in a local public school. Bruce and Dorothy have a passion for the gospel, especially among children. They have opened their home to neighborhood kids and have had gatherings of up to 23 children which, through God's presence and anointing, in an atmosphere of worship and the Word, saw joyfully confess their way to salvation. Bruce and Dorothy love to worship and "soak" in the Holy Sprit's presence, especially with other seekers, and expectantly anticipate a ground swell of God's anointing to wash over Wasaga Beach. Bruce is a visionary who loves to encourage, pray over and speak God's blessings into others' lives. Come out and be blessed by an impartation of the Holy Spirit through this time of ministry.
