Aaron Mountain
Aaron was born and raised in Grey County, and lives not far from where his ancestors settled in the early 1840's. Offspring of Christian parents and grandparents, Aaron was saved at an early age, and has lived for the Lord ever since.
His occupations have always centered a round forestry and agriculture. In 1984, he made a switch from mixed farming to buffalo ranching, which is still his business today. Aaron enjoys his work, and says that there are not many places left where you can ride in the fresh air, on a good horse, to do your work.
He met his wife Arlene shortly after she returned to Canada from Germany, where she had lived for 13 years. He has confessed "as for me and my household, we shall serve the Lord," and as a result they have been blessed with 3 sons and 2 daughters, ranging in ages from 8 to 28, who all serve the Lord.
Many times people have heard a message about the prodigal son, but Aaron's testimony will be about the son who stayed home. Aaron is currently President of the Owen Sound Chapter of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship.
