Dear Friends,On Saturday we had the privilege of testifying at the Christian Fellowship Breakfast at Goodies Café in Wasaga Beach. We met some wonderful people, and had good fellowship. It was rather special how the Lord directed us in this.
I had met John Lawrence about a year before while attending a Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship. I had just finished writing my first book, “Susie’s Story”, and the group prayed over it, asking the Lord to use it for His kingdom. Afterward, John approached me and asked if I had ever considered taking speaking engagements. I told him that I would probably enjoy that sort of thing, but hadn’t really done much along that line. I basically forgot about it until a couple of months ago.
We had attended another FGBMF and I had said hello to John, but that was about it. The next morning as I was praying, I began to feel that it was time to get out and start testifying of our experiences, but then I stopped myself. “Lord,” I said, “I don’t want to do anything that You don’t direct. If You want us to take speaking engagements, You will have to send the people to us. That way I will know it really is You directing.” I finished with my devotions and turned my computer on to check my emails. There was the letter from John asking if I would speak at their March breakfast. I knew it was the Lord directing. We were blessed to be there. We pray that we were able to be a blessing.
